Integrate Luna with Slack

Overview

The Luna slack app allows you to collaborate on your Luna launches, without leaving Slack. Thanks to this integration, all launch participants stay in sync and keep accurate visibility into launches data.

How Luna works in Slack

The Luna slack app covers the following use cases:

Create a new launch

The /create-new-launch command will open the new launch modal. After completing the minimum information required and submitting the form, a new launch will be created in Luna

Add modules data

The /add-module command allows users to change the information linked to various launch information and modules. The command will first ask users to choose the launch and the module you would like to edit. Then, depending on users’ selection, a second modal will appear allowing users to change the data of the corresponding module. Upon submission, the relevant data will be updated in Luna.

See the launches you are working on

The /get-my-launches command will return the launches users are an owner or a participant of. Each launch result will display the launch's most important information.

See modules data

The /get-launch-module command allows users to read the information linked to a module they selected. The command will ask users for the launch and the module they are interested in. Upon submission, Luna will return the relevant information in Slack.

Weekly launches notifications

Every Monday morning, you will receive in your Slack Luna app a summary of the launches you are working on. You can control all Slack notifications in Settings > Notifications.
