Luna AI syncs with Jira Cloud in real time, based on the mapping and permissions you've set. It pulls in issues, statuses, comments, and metadata to track progress, identify risks, and power AI-generated summaries. You can also push updates back to Jira from Luna AI, keeping both tools in sync.

Can I choose which Jira projects to sync?

Yes. You have full control over which projects, boards, or filters Luna AI can access. Only the mapping you select is synced, so irrelevant or sensitive projects stay excluded.

Can I edit Jira issues from Luna?

Absolutely. You can update fields like status, due dates, assignees, and descriptions directly from Luna AI. Changes are reflected instantly in Jira, reducing tab-switching and streamlining your workflow.

What Jira data does Luna AI use for AI summaries?

Luna AI uses both structured and unstructured data, including issue titles, descriptions, comments, statuses, and activity history, from the projects you’ve chosen to sync. This context powers automated status updates, risk detection, and progress summaries.

Is the integration available on Jira Cloud and Server?

Luna AI currently supports Jira Cloud. Jira Server and Data Center are not supported at the moment.

Can I control who on my team sees synced Jira data in Luna?

Yes. Luna AI offers role-based access controls, so only the right teammates can view or edit specific initiatives or Jira-linked data.

What happens if an issue is updated in Jira directly?
