How does Luna AI connect with Slack?

You can connect Slack from the Luna AI app via Settings → Integrations, or directly through the Slack App Directory.

Can I control what notifications I receive in Slack?

Yes. You can fully customize which updates you receive, such as decisions, delays, or status changes, and where they appear, whether in personal DMs or shared channels.

Does Luna AI post to channels automatically?

Luna AI only posts to Slack channels after you’ve explicitly connected an initiative to that channel and enabled notifications. You’re always in control.

What Slack data does Luna AI use for AI-generated updates?

Only the messages you explicitly sync with Luna AI are used. Luna does not scan or store your entire Slack workspace, only what you choose to share.

Can I use Slack without Jira, or Jira without Slack?

Yes. Luna AI works with either tool independently. You’ll get the most value when using both, but if your team uses only Slack (or only Jira), Luna AI can still help you stay aligned and spot key updates or risks.

Can I disable or disconnect the Slack integration later?

Absolutely. You can disconnect Slack at any time from your Luna workspace settings. Luna will immediately stop syncing messages or sending notifications.
